AKTIVE THERAPIES delivers private and personalized quality  physical therapy directly to patients. 

Skilled and licensed services are rendered in the comfort and safety of the patient's home. The expertise, experience and equipment is delivered directly when you need and when you want it. Currently the service area is limited to North County San Diego.

AKTIVE THERAPIES treats a variety of individuals from infants and toddlers to grandma and grandpa and everyone in-between. Our services are for those that need to learn mobility, regain mobility, or maintain mobility. 

Services are offered through out-of-pocket private pay. Reimbursement from your insurance can be requested with provided documentation. Early Intervention infant and toddlers physical therapy is covered through San Diego Regional Center.

AKTIVE THERAPIES was founded by Adrian Kunst, PT, DPT in 2024. As a 2017 graduate of Mercy University's Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in New York, he completed his doctoral research at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital's robotics department working with patients with chronic stroke to recover ambulation through the use of exoskeleton robots. Adrian has been in the rehabilitation industry for 16 years and is a contributing member of the American Physical Therapy Association. His clinical areas of interest are stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease, orthopedics and pediatrics. He lives with his family in Encinitas, California and enjoys Staying Aktive through Ice Hockey, hiking and beach activities.
